Spanish data centre operator, Adam, will open its first data centre in Madrid later this month.
The Tier III-equivalent facility, Adam MAD, is located the Tecnoalcalá Technology Park situated within the campus of the University of Alcalá. The initial development has 3,500 sqm of data halls and 4MW of capacity and will run on 100% renewable energy sources.
The company already has two facilities in Barcelona: Adam BCN which has 600 sqm of data halls and 1.5 MW IT power; and Adam PTV, a Tier-III equivalent facility, with 3,400 sqm of data halls and 4 MW of IT power.
