Arteria Networks Corporation to sell two Tokyo data centres to Digital Edge

New Singaporean data centre operator Digital Edge announced on Tuesday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the ComSpace I & II data centres in the Nihonbashi and Shinjuku districts of Tokyo from Arteria Networks Corporation (ANC).

While the terms of the deal have not been disclosed, the press release mentions a further investment of around USD $200 million into the facilities with ANC remaining as a customer and partner within them.

Since its incorporation in August 2020, Digital Edge has made acquisitions in Tokyo, Osaka and Korea. On completion of all announced deals, the company will have six data centres in the fast-growing APAC region. Definitely one to watch.
