Ethio Telecom has opened a Tier III ready modular data centre in the Gola Sefer district of the capital, Addis Ababa.
Huawei supplied the data centre with 1.4 PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness). Ethio Telecom will use the facility to serve existing service provision such as business support systems and mobile money with the extra capacity due to be used for new business such as colocation and cloud services.
