Interxion completes Amsterdam Data Tower

Interxion, a Digital Realty company, has completed its third and final expansion of AMS17, also known as the Amsterdam Data Tower. The latest expansion adds 2.4 MW of IT capacity across four floors.

AMS17 originally opened in 2016 in the Amsterdam Science Park, which houses eight data centres with public and private cloud services providers with direct access to Microsoft Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platforms. The facility now has a total area of ​​5,500 sq m (59,200 sq ft) and 7MW of capacity available to customers.

Interxion has increased its presence across Europe this year, opening a new data centre in Paris, beginning construction in both Marseilles and Brussels as well as leasing space in Dusseldorf.
