In a recent article on the race for AI and Data Centres in the Middle East, Bloomberg referenced DC Byte’s data to detail the present data centre landscape in the UAE and Saudi Arabia markets.
As at the end of 2023, live capacity in the UAE was over 200MW, while that of Saudi Arabia recorded more than 120MW. Both markets are positioned to grow in the upcoming months, with a number of developments in the pipeline that will add hundreds of live megawatts to each of the markets down the line.
