Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Business Partner to join our finance team. This role is critical in driving financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate will provide key insights to support strategic decision-making, working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.

You’re a qualified accountant with an eye for detail who knows how to get things done.
You’ve worked in a subscription business before and know how to partner with stakeholders in different offices to achieve commercial success.
Maybe you’ve got experience working in a big corporation, but you’re now looking for the experience of working for a small, fast-paced organisation with a global footprint where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial models.
- Commercial analysis: Provide insights into revenue trends, profitability and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business growth.
- Variance Analysis: Analyse financial performance versus budget/forecast and provide insights into key drivers.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, marketing, research and product to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Profitability & Cost Analysis: Assess revenue streams, cost structures, and margin performance to improve efficiency.
- Scenario Modelling: Conduct “what-if” analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting through automation and best practices.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide financial insights on special projects and business initiatives as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Accounting qualified: ACA/CIMA/ACCA strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel & financial modelling skills.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reporting and analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying challenges and recommending solutions.
- Proactive Mindset: Ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend strategic actions.
- Eagerness to learn: Keen to develop within a private equity-backed subscription business.
- Preferred: Has an understanding of SAAS metrics / KPIs.
- Preferred: Transaction experience.
