ABN AMRO Bank is the largest bank in the Netherlands, 6th in Europe and 16th across the globe. It stands for Algemene Bank Nederland and the Amsterdam and Rotterdam Bank. ABN AMRO BANK began its journey from a merger contract in September 2021 by Rob Hazelhoff (ABN) and Roelof Nelissen (AMRO). The bank is owned by NLFI (Netherlands Financial Investments) and STAK AAB (Stichting Administratiekantoor Continuïteit AAB), who take 49.5% and 50.5%, respectively. The bank operates its own data centre located in Amstelveen.
