In December 2018, a joint venture between Digital Realty Trust (Digital Realty) and Brookfield Infrastructure (Brookfield) acquired Ascenty, the transaction was valued at approximately 1.8 billion USD. It is currently the largest Latin American data centre provider with data centres across Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Colombia.
They offer colocation, cloud and connectivity services across 34 sites that are either in operation or under construction. Clients include Tribanco, TW Solutions and and Vianet.
