Named after the Scottish-born inventor of the telephone, Alexander Graham Bell, Bell is Canada's largest communications service provider.
The company's history dates back to the 1870's when Bell invented an analogue electromagnetic telecommunication device which he patents in the US and Canada in 1876, and after several transfers of patent rights, led to the incorporation of the Bell Telephone Company of Canada in 1880.
