Databank operates a data centre colocation service across the United States. Whilst their primary market is the United States they also have 5 data centres in France and 1 in the United Kingdom. Their flagship facility was in Dallas, Texas, opened in 2005, where the company is also headquartered, but they now have over 65 data centres, providing over 220MW in over 27 different markets.
A merger in 2016, orchestrated by Digitial Bridge between Databank and C7 Data centres, has ensured continued funding for Databank from a series of private investors including the aforementioned Digital Bridge as well as Swiss Life Asset Managers and EDF Energy.
They acquired Zayo's data centres in 2020 as well as 4 CyrusOne data centres in the Houston area and provide cloud and colocation services to over 3000 customers.
