Overview
Canadian company Bitzero Blockchain has purchased a 10-hectare land parcel in Kokemäki, Finland. Bitzero plans to build a cryptomining data centre complex with a total capacity of roughly 500MW, starting with a 10MW phase, then scaling to 100MW.
Bitzero has also signed a preliminary agreement for another 15-hectare land parcel, as well as reserving a further 70-hectare plot further south. The Mayor of Kokemäki estimates that construction could begin within a year.
