Intermarket Properties, a Toronto-based real estate company, is planning to build a 100,000 square foot data centre in Cambridge, to the south west of Toronto. Subject to planning approval, work will begin in Q3 2021.
The data centre will be part of Intermarket’s IP Park, a 40-acre industrial and commercial mixed use campus. The industrial park has a focus on distribution, logistics, high-tech manufacturing, and research. The location is well suited for a data centre with a new transformer on the site that will have capacity of over 138MW as well as access to multiple fibre routes.
