As part of its ongoing $2 billion European expansion programme, Vantage has broken ground on two greenfield campuses in Warsaw and Berlin. This is the first site for the company in Poland and its second in the German market.
Vantage Data Centres: Brandenburg Park, Berlin (BER1)
Located in Brandenburg Park, the 24,000 sq m Berlin Campus will comprise two 16MW facilities. The first phase, scheduled for completion in early 2022, will offer 8MW of IT capacity.
The 36,000 sq m Warsaw campus will also comprise two data centres. The first facility will include 16MW of capacity and the second 32MW, offering a combined total of 48MW of critical IT load once fully developed. The first phase is due for completion in early 2022 and will offer 8MW.
Both campuses will offer Vantage’s customers renewable energy options to reduce their carbon emissions.
Vantage entered the European market at the beginning of 2020, acquiring both Etix Everywhere and Next Generation Data. Operational campuses include those in Frankfurt and Cardiff, with Zurich coming on line later this year.
