Yondr is set to build two data centres in Slough on the site of the former Uxbridge Road Gas Works and disused Akzo Nobel paint factory.
Slough, a key hub within London data centre market, has the highest density of data centres of anywhere in the UK.
The company has reportedly been in planning and consultation since January 2021. Subject to planning approval, construction will begin this month. Once fully developed, the facility will offer 30MW IT capacity, with the first phase operational in 2023.
