Yondr’s $2Billion expansion across the Americas

Yondr, the hyperscale data centre developer has announced a $2 billion expansion across North and South America. This significant investment will add to Yondr group’s network, having delivered an estimated 450MW of capacity across Europe since 2011.

The expansion aims to meet the Americas’ growing demand for cloud and edge computing. Founder and Ceo David Newitt points out “US data centre capacity alone is more than twice that of Europe. And it’s continuing to grow, with a predicted 11GW of capacity in place by 2025.”

The company plans to deliver facilities across five continents by 2024 and has pledged that all global data centres will be carbon neutral at the point of hand over to its clients.
