Amsterdam, capital city of the Netherlands, is one of the leading data centre hubs across Europe.
These hubs are known as the FLAP-D (Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Dublin).
Since 2010, Amsterdam and North of the Netherlands have added just over 800MW of Live IT Capacity. The encouragement of foreign direct investment, strong connectivity, strong digital infrastructure among other factors have facilitated the growth of the data centre scene in Amsterdam. These have allowed both colocation and self-build operators to have a strong presence in the market. However, new supply in the market has been limited due to regulations and power availability.
