DC Byte Appoints Bernard Johnson as CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Bernard is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in shaping and growing information services businesses. Previously, as Managing Director of Glenigan, Bernard doubled the company’s size, transforming it into the UK’s leading provider of construction project tracking data. Under his leadership, Glenigan secured key sector partnerships, expanded data sources, and enhanced its subscription and consultancy services—all driven by a strong focus on client care, retention, and sustainable growth.

He joins DC Byte from WGSN, a global consumer trend forecasting firm, where he spearheaded global commercial strategy and operations across six service lines.

Ed Galvin, founder and current CEO, will stay in the business in an advisory capacity and support Bernard as we embark on this transition to a new chapter in our journey.
