Ed has extensive specialist experience within the data centre industry. He worked for CBRE, providing real estate consultancy services within the data centre solutions team. Then he struck out on his own, becoming an independent consultant focused on site selection, market intelligence, business case reviews and commercial property advice.
Ed is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has master’s degrees in property valuation and law from Cass Business School and theology from Cambridge University.

James has been involved in APAC’s data centre industry for nearly a decade; having run Data Centre World (DCW) in Singapore as well as launching DCW Hong Kong, considered to be one of North Asia’s most influential data centre platforms.
Prior to joining the DC Byte team, he was the Sales Director at SpaceDC working with several global hyperscalers to develop solutions across the APAC region.
James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and economics from Trinity College Dublin, a master’s degree in management consultancy from University College Dublin; and an additional master’s degree in Asian business, awarded by University College Cork in conjunction with Nanyang Technological University.

Colby is an experienced data centre professional with extensive technical expertise and a profound understanding of the evolving technologies and trends that are shaping the data centre landscape in the Americas.
Prior to joining DC Byte, Colby held a key position in QTS Data Centers, a prominent provider in the industry. As the head of the channel organization, he collaborated with real estate consultancy firms, hyperscale companies, Fortune 1000 organizations, and the Federal Government. His role involved keeping them informed about the latest developments in the region to ensure the successful deployment of critical IT assets.
When he’s not driving progress and fostering growth in the data centre sector, Colby enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children. Occasionally, you might spot him on the golf course, unwinding and indulging in his favorite sport.

An industry veteran, Scott has spent much of his career in data centres, providing market leading consultation, solutions, products and services. A successful sales professional with over 17 years experience in the industry.
At DC Byte, Scott is responsible for driving all sales activity in the EMEA region and is based in our London HQ. Prior to joining DC Byte, Scott has worked for Uptime Institute, Arrow ECS and Emerson Network power (now Vertiv) in various roles taking him to data centres all across Europe.
When he’s not working, the husband and father of 4 will most likely be found walking the family dogs, or training for his next marathon or Ironman triathlon.

Lucy embarked on her professional journey at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she gained valuable experience in audit and deals, achieving her qualification as an ACA. Subsequently, she ventured into the realm of Private Equity-backed technology enterprises, consistently contributing her expertise. Currently, Lucy serves as the Finance Director at DC Byte, assuming a pivotal position in steering financial growth and shaping strategic initiatives.
Lucy is an esteemed member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Durham University, equipping her with a diverse skill set and a unique perspective in her field.

Jay is an exceptional leader who possesses a remarkable track record of fostering the growth of global businesses by prioritizing people development and delivering innovative solutions to customer challenges. With extensive experience as an executive and board member, Jay’s most recent role was as the CEO and Director of Achilles Information Limited, a Private Equity-backed company that underwent a successful sale and transition from Hg Capital to Bridgepoint Development Capital in 2021. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the success of startups as well as large multinational corporations, assuming various senior leadership positions and demonstrating a strong focus on team building and driving both organic and M&A-driven growth.
Jay holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Cleveland State University. While currently based in the US, he has also resided and worked in the UK and the Netherlands, expanding his global perspective and enriching his professional experience.

A proactive self-starter, Dinah is a seasoned marketing professional with experience spanning various industries. Joining DC Byte, she leads the global marketing strategy, collaborating closely with sales and development teams. Her responsibilities encompass brand strategy, content creation, and digital marketing.
Dinah holds a technical Diploma in Multimedia Infocomm and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Canberra. Complementing her academic achievements, she pursued a Digital Marketing certification with Avado in collaboration with Google, graduating with Distinction.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dinah is a loving wife and a proud new mom to a beautiful baby girl.

With a focus on aligning business goals with user needs, Ivan has developed data-driven strategies that have resulted in significant growth and enhanced user engagement. His expertise extends to launching AI-powered products, optimizing recruitment processes, and facilitating market expansion.
From managing complex technical integrations to overseeing user-centric UX improvements, Ivan excels in turning concepts into successful products. His leadership has been instrumental in driving exponential revenue growth, improving operational efficiencies, and delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet evolving market demands. Jingwen Ong

Jingwen sits across the developed markets in North/East Asia, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and tier I cities in mainland China. She has delivered briefings, analyst support, and consultancy work on all of these markets and beyond for major global investors and operators to influence multi million-dollar business decisions. One example of such work would be a Japan market study relating to the acquisition of shares in a centrally located data centre in Osaka by Mapletree Industrial Trust, supporting the REIT’s strategic entry into one of the largest DC markets in APAC.
Jingwen holds certification for the DCPro Data Centre Design Awareness course and is an intermediate Korean and Japanese speaker, which helps in conducting research and building her network with industry experts on the ground.
Prior to DC Byte, Jingwen had work experience as a researcher in the public service sector. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and an Intermediate Japanese certificate issued by the National University of Singapore. In her leisure time, Jingwen marries her passion for languages with her hobbies through computer games, reading, and listening to music.

Having graduated from the Royal Agricultural University, Chris spent his early career at John D Wood & Co. and Hamptons International in Residential Valuation where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. He then shifted his focus into Commercial Valuation and spent almost three years at Gerald Eve LLP acting for major lenders as well as private clients. In 2021, with a desire to enter the rapidly evolving data centre sector he moved to CBRE’s Data Centre Valuation team, providing specialist valuation advice in the Data Centre sector across EMEA and APAC to lenders, developers, investors, and operators.
Currently, Chris serves as an Associate Director, Research and Consulting at DC Byte, based in London. Since joining DC Byte in 2023, he has been instrumental in managing and coordinating a team of research analysts covering the EMEA region, producing comprehensive data centre market insights and bespoke consultancy reports. He also leads the company’s real estate site selection efforts, leveraging DC Byte’s proprietary site selection platform to support clients. His role ensures consistent, high-quality delivery of services in collaboration with DC Byte’s global offices.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, supporting Tottenham Hotspur, and walking his dog, Luigi.
